Room to blog

Dear world,
In my new house there is a study that Dad uses sometimes to work. I thought that it was silly for such a nice room to go unused during the day while he is at work. So I decided it could be a new place for me to blog. When I am in there it makes me feel very important and successful . Maybe if I spend enough time in it I will become very important and successful. Hmmm. My family already makes me feel important. But what would the definition of success be for me? I really need to think about that.
Love always,
Bear

  4. Bear, you are already successful.
You live in a big house, you have your own pool, your garden is a small park, you travel in private jets, when you walk around you have humans picking your pooh after you... and you don't work... you just have to be yourself, be cute, be beautiful... :)

Is that your mom and dad petting a leopard on that picture? wow! I'm completely envious.
Is that you when you were a baby on that other picture?

  5. Fernando, I dont think material things make one successful. My success to date is being loved and appreciated by my family.
That is a cheetah they are petting in a Reserve project in South Africa. They went on a vacation there a few years ago. (it was my mom's dream since she was a kid).
The dog on the other side was my brother Oliver.

  6. Bear, I was going to post a correction (it is a cheetah) and I found your post. Nice to know that your mom had her dream come true. That was my dream too. I love gorillas and my heart shrinks went something bad happens to them. I think like you. Material stuff is secondary to me too. I love all animals and I feed them daily. I have around 40 pigeons in my park that love their breakfast of peanuts and rice. Around 3 ravens understand that my presence also means peanuts for them. Add 10 gophers and my family is complete :)

  7. Found you via blog hop. Excellent blogging room. Our hu-dad tends to help up with our blogs on the porch - the beauty of laptops.

  11. Does your dad know you were using his chair? I didn't even use it when I was visiting and working on my blog! I used the guest chairs in the room.

  12. Sydne- Of course I did not use his chair. I moved it over and put a guest chair in its spot. You could have done that too. But unlike me, you would not have needed a towel to sit on. Miss you.
