Rule Broken

Dear world,

Mom and Dad always had a rule in the house. No dogs on furniture, except bed. And then Rosy came along. She gets to lay on the couch, sit on the club chair, the kitchen chair and any other chair her pretty little head wants to! I understand that she is small and doesn't shed, but I still didn't think it was fair. So when Mom and Dad went out of town, I decided I wanted to lay on the couch too. So I did, and Mom and Dad didn't know. Then yesterday Mom and Dad came home when I was sleeping...Busted! But they thought it was so sweet that Rosy and I were bonding. Perfect. Now I can be a Couch Beartato.

Love always,

Bear

  4. YAY Bear!!!! Fair is fair. After all if you and Rosy can ever truely bond, you must both share the couch!!! @NellieSpringer

  5. If God didn't want dogs to be on furniture he wouldn't made them so low. A couch is the perfect place for a dog or a cat. I had a wet pigeon on top of my TV (towel between them) and nobody got hurt.
I love seeing Bear and Rosy sharing the same space. Nice to see them bonding.

  6. You deserve to be a couch Beartato. Bentley wasn't allowed on the couch unless we invited him up. Mostly because of his size and because he might squish one of the kitties. We occasionally caught him on the couch and called it "taking liberties". We couldn't get upset with him for wanting the same privileges as the kitties.

  8. We get allowed everywhere. So needless to say, everything in the house is covered in hair (mostly because of our Corgi). But the upside is that Ein gets quite a bit of exercise just in the attempts it takes him to get up on the couch.
