Dear world,
While there are a lot of cool things about the world of snow, it can be quite challenging. Retrieving for instance. When Mom threw me the ball I couldn't find it. I saw the ball go up in the air and come down. But when I ran to fetch it, it wasn't there! I searched on the snow and no sign of yellow anywhere. So next I needed to look under the snow. Yup. There it was! How did it get there?
Love always,
Bear
I still say "bbbrrrrrrrrrrrr" when I see all that snow. Glad you're having fun, Bear... and glad you found your ball. Otherwise, you might have to wait for a spring thaw before you see it again.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day... pawhugs, Max

he he - You should be in my backyard trying to find a ball - M says we has a goot of snow all over. Your ball would be lost until the snow melted.
ReplyDeleteNo snow in Vegas, but I did have to fish out my foil ball from under the couch, eh! It's kinda white under there too... but I hear those are called dust bunnies, not snow. *MOL*
ReplyDeleteHappens to me all the time!!!! Especially hard when mom creates a ball toy that's white! It really seems to disappear!!!

you are such a smart dog. To conclude that it must be under the snow is a big step. you must be having such a great time.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm sure is that your mom is having tons of fun seeing you deal with the "disappearing ball" and then with the "look! I found my ball" acts.
Good for you sniffing the ball out even in the snow. What a wonderful retriever!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoying your blog a great deal! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt must be hard to find a little ball in all that snow. You sure have a good nose though!
ReplyDeleteGlad you found your ball! Bet it helps being yellow. I loose my rawhides in the snow all the time. Sometimes they're so hard to find they are frozen when I do.
