To add insult to leg injury, the vet told me I needed to lose weight. Mom and Dad came to my defense saying I lost over 10 lbs since coming back to San Diego. The vet said I need to lose at least 5 more lbs. So Mom and Dad said that we will go on a diet together.Rosy said she will take care of the treat basket.
Love always,
Bear
Bear, you have to explain to the vet that you are not fat... you are very muscular, with all that running on the beach.
ReplyDeletePoor Bear, can't run at da beech and you haz to watch da treet consumption. Mai nephew Dakota, who iz a golden iz eatin diet fudz too. He's a big boy. His vet say he iz da tallest golden he'd ever seen!
ReplyDeletePoor Bear = you are just getting it from all angles aren't you,. You can't run at the beach and now you can't eat. Sigh. Life is totally unfair.
ReplyDeleteOh, you poor, poor sweet Bear! You not be a fat boy at all! You just gots muscles from running & playing in the ocean. It just not right that you can't play in the water & can't have snacks either. Hugs
ReplyDeleteMan you look so sad... Diet is no fun. No fun at all... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteHang in there, Bear!
*woof*
Ah, you look so very sad in that picture, Bear!! Is that a scale under your paws? Make sure your Mom finds the sweet spot on the floor where the scale says you weigh the least. That's what our people do!
ReplyDeleteChin, Zhaan and I are all on diets 'cause we're chubby kitties. Of course, we tell the vet and our people that it's mostly fur. Maybe you could try that too?
Love & loud purring from me, Annie, who speaks for all the gang.
Poor Bear. Once you can run on the beach again you'll lose that 5 lbs. in no time! Then you won't have to diet anymore.
ReplyDeleteYou look buff Bear. But the 5lbs off will help your hips, elbows, knees and toes feel better! Winslow has to lose 5 lbs too. Never mind how much I have to lose !
ReplyDeleteOh Rosie is so good to look after those treats!
