Pigs in a Blanket

Dear world,
Today is National Pigs in a Blanket Day. I imagined that we would go to a farm and bring some blankets for the pigs. But then Mom pulled out a box from the fridge --little hot dogs in pastry! I am just confused why they are referred to as pigs in a blanket, rather than dogs in a blanket. Weird. Anyway, I highly recommend celebrating this day. These little hot dog pigs are YUM! .

    Bear, you are write. They are 'dogs on a blanket'. It can be 'pigs' because till this day nobody knows what is inside a hot-dog :)
