Today is the second day of Rosh Hashanah. the Jewish New Year 5772. It is believed that it is when G*D starts to decide everyone's fate for the next year. So for the next 10 days you can repent to try to get a good outcome. Then it's Yom Kippur, Day of Atonement, when fate is sealed. Yikes! Anyway, I am going to ask for forgiveness for all the times I growled at other dogs, and those few times I got into tiffs with some. While I am not allowed to go to repent at the synagogue, I do get to do the yummy part... eating apples and honey to signify a sweet year to come. YUM!
L'Shana Tovah - that is me barking a Happy New Year greeting in Hebrew!
Love always,
Bear

Look who's being spoiled with apple and honey.
ReplyDeleteI know something about this because of Stephen Colbert. Every year he setups a special phone line (oops-Jew) where he receives calls from other people asking for forgiveness (very funny).
Bear, I'm sure there is nothing that you do that is really bad.
Enjoy the festivities.
Happy New Year pal. Enjoy the celebration.
ReplyDeleteBear, you are going to have a VERY good year. I just know it. My Toby loves apples. Me? Not so much. But maybe with some of that honey.....
