I often take a walk past this small lake. Over the last month I have seen a Mommy duck and her babies swimming in it. They were always too far away to say hello. So yesterday I saw them on the grass. I was so excited that maybe I could finally get to meet them. So I ran over to them. Not sure why, but Mommy Duck scurried her babies into the water and swam away. Bummer! I just wanted to introduce myself and welcome the baby ducks into the neighborhood! What did she think i was going to do?
Love always,
Bear

ReplyDeletemaybe mama duck thought you were trying to have breakfast? she doesn't know how well you eat at home.
ReplyDeletePoor Bear - you are such a friendly doggie too. At least you tried to be friends, never give up on that idea.
ReplyDeleteMommy ducks r nervous creatures. U must forgives her fur bein skeered of googies.
ReplyDeleteWhen LocksleyDog first saw Gobie, his person's new pony, he thought it was a Monster Dog! That's probably what Mommy Duckie thought you might be size-wise to her little babies. Maybe when they're bigger, they'll waddle over to say hi and tell you their names. We bet one of them might be named Dixie.
