The other day when looking for a ball in a closet I found a Chess board. I always heard that Chess is an interesting game, so I asked Rosy if she wanted to play. She agreed. So I googled how to set up the board. Then we read about strategies, tactics and rules of the game. We were both a bit confused. I suggested we should first learn how to play checkers. She suggested we just play ball. I agreed.
Love always,
Bear
Ball sounds like it's way more fun, although I wouldn't mind have a "go" at those chess pieces. I bet they'd really roll around on the floor if one were to play bat, bat, bat!
ReplyDeleteI learned to play chess when I was a wee bunny. I was never very good. I occasionally play, but end up losing. Chess is one of those games, that even though you are nose to nose just sitting there, the opponents don't talk to each other. Boring!
ReplyDeleteI fink it wud be fun to drop da ball on da chess board and scatter da pieces! Dat wud make da chess pieces fun kitty toys and da doggies cud chase da ball! :)
ReplyDeleteRosy seems to be telling Bear: "Whites move first".
ReplyDeleteRosy is right! playing ball is much more fun.

We don't play chess because we can't think that far ahead. We like balls that make noise and are right in front of us right this moment. Good times!
