Outside activity

Dear world,
I typically love spending time outdoors. Nothing usually stops me from playing fetch with my tennis ball. But have you ever felt a heat index of over 110 degrees? One fetch and I'm done. Then there is the pool. Well, it is like one giant hot tub without the jets. Its gotta be like 90 degrees. So I won't go swimming. I decided the only thing to do outside in this heat is to paw the door open and get inside.
Love always,
Bear

  1. you need a remote control to open that door.
very smart of you to avoid the heat.
look for the tiles in the kitchen.

  2. Oh my gosh Bear, where is your doggie door!
I don't know what I'd do without my doggie door. An air conditioned house is also very important when it's soooo hot outside. I'm sure your house is air conditioned but you've gotta have a doggie door to go outside when you want to and back inside whenever it gets too hot outside.

  3. Dont worry Stoney. I dont need a doggie door. My favorite place to be is inside my house. Whenever I want to go out, Mom lets me outside and waits for me to come back in. Besides, I really only like being outside when Mom is. So no need for a doggie door. Thanks for your concern though.

  4. I know what you mean about not "needing" a doggie door. BUT, if you had one you might change your mind. Doggie doors are fun! I get to sit inside, next to the sliding doors, and watch the squirrels and chipmunks come to eat our bird food, then I can run out through my doggie door and chase them. It gives me something to do when mom is busy doing other stuff. It's kind of like doggie Reality TV with some action thrown in.
