Yesterday was very interesting. Mom and Dad took me to the Animal Healing Center. I listened as Dr. Diana explained all about Chinese medicine. Then the doc started putting these tiny little needles in me. I think it should be called porcupine therapy! Weird! I thought maybe I would get some Chinese food after, but that didn't happen. They did talk about a new diet for me though. Uh Oh.
Love always,
Bear
oh Bear, poor you. I can see your dad giving you spiritual support. I can see your face buried on your dad's hands. I so hope this works for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yah. It wasnt so bad at all, just odd. And I did feel better afterwards.BEarHUG!
DeleteBear - how did you like your acupuncture? I need to take my pup in to get acupuncture for her back. I'm glad it felt weird instead of bad :)
ReplyDeleteIt was weird. But I think it made me feel a little better! BearHUG!
DeleteBear - my golden saw Dr. ogilvie in Carlsbad - he has a clinical trial for dogs with cancer.. maybe your mom might want to check that out.
ReplyDeleteMom had a bad experience there. She doesnt trust them. Thanks anyway! BEarHUG!
DeleteAwwww, that's supposed to be very good for you so enjoy the relief...XX
ReplyDeleteYou poor boy. I hope you are alright. You are very brave to allow that. xxx
ReplyDeleteBear I hope it works for u! I think it's great Mom is trying all kindsa things!
ReplyDeleteBear you might also try a chiropractic adjustment and laser therapy too :) Our Golden Retrievers love it.
ReplyDeleteAcupuncture worked very well for some horses we know! It's good to give all the healing arts an opportunity to help you.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the new diet will have some Chinese elements. Do you like Bok Choy? Snow Peas? Tofu? Shadow loved a bit of ginger root for a snack...he made funny faces, but he loved it! And we love you! Purrs from RainbowCatsx8
Hope that Chinese stuff works for you bear. M wouldn't mind trying that herself. You just has to feel better pal cuz we are worried bout you over here. Hugs for mom and dad and I'm purring for you.
ReplyDeleteBear, don't worry about the needles they really don't hurt. Ginger and Rockford get Acupuncture all the time and it helps them walk and feel better. I think it will help you two just stick with it for 4 or 5 sessions before you decide. It took a little while for them to feel the effects.
