Tooth Fairy

Dear world,
Annie had dental work the other day and got 11 teeth pulled out! YIKES! Well this set Rosy into immediate motion to become her tooth fairy. She had soft treats and a new toy all ready. Annie told Tooth Fairy Rosy that she left her teeth at the vet. Rosy was relieved that she didn't need to see the yucky teeth and happily presented Annie with her presents. Such good sisters!

Frog Prince

Dear world,

The other day Mom brought home a toy. I figured it was for me. But Rosy came over and said it was obvious that it was for her. Rosy said she was going to kiss the frog and he was going to turn into a handsome prince poodle. I have to tell Mom to stop reading Rosy fairytales.

Oscars Best Dresses

Dear world,

My sis Rosy, the self proclaimed poodle fashionista, chose her Oscars best dressed. And as a budding stylist, she chose the best dresses for her coloring and body type and then picked three that she thought would look best on Annie.She had Annie wear her ears back for an extra stylish look. So do you agree with her picks? Which look do you think is the best ? (If I were you, I would make sure you say one that Rosy is wearing!)

Oscars Fashion

Dear world,

Rosy is so excited about the Oscars that she got a new outfit to watch it. When she showed me I said it is a bit reminiscent of Madonna so it looks more like something for the Grammys. She said I was wrong. She told me that she is right on trend with Gold and 80's Retro, and she likes taking fashion risks for big events. I made sure she didn't see my eyes roll.

New Collar !

Yesterday, I was trying to decide which collar I should wear when Mom said she had a surprise for me. She told me to close my eyes. She put a collar around my neck, put something down in front of me and said to open my eyes. OMD! A tennis ball leash and collar!! I have been dreaming of one of these my whole life! I don't think I will ever want to wear any other collar again.

Taco Tuesday

I always talk about celebrating Taco Tuesday, but tacos rarely happen for me. So I thought maybe I should do something about it. So I gathered my girls and told them we should get a taco kit, dress up and be adorable and maybe Mom would make us tacos. Do you think it will work?

Presidents Day

Dear world,

Presidents Day weekend brings to mind Mount Rushmore. Since I have never been there and don't know much about it, I Googled it. So now I know that four Presidents heads are carved into a mountain in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The Presidents are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson; Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt . Their heads are 60 feet tall, and their noses 20 ft long. So that got me to thinking... what would it be like to have my head carved into the mountain? How long would my nose be? and how tall would that make my ball?

Bed Sharing

Dear world,
First I want to say that I really love Annie and am happy that she is part of our family. I have been patiently mentoring her and willingly sharing everything,even my tennis balls and pizza..But now Annie likes to sleep on my big bed and takes up too much room to me to leisurely sprawl out. Everyone says I am such a good brother, and I am, so I will continue to let her. But I just needed to vent.

Valentines Day

Valentine's Day is a rough one for me. Rosy, Annie and Bunnybell all want me to be their Valentine. So I got all of them teddy bears. I also got each of them a Valentine plant grow kit, an activity we can do together. But I  hope they wont be too bummed that I wont be their Valentine. The only Valentine for me is my Mom.

Mardi Gras

Here we on Fat Tuesday ready for Mardi Gras. I told my sisters about traditional foods served including the King Cake. Rosy wants to find the baby in the cake to add to her babies. Annie just wants to have cake. I don't care about King cake, cause I already have my crown. However, I think we should be unntraditional and celebrate with King Pizza!

Poodle shoe

Dear world,

Always wanting to be on top of the latest fashion trends, Rosy immediately grabbed the latest Neiman Marcus Look Book. As she was pawing through the pages, suddenly she squealed and came running over to me. She said "Look Bear! Aren't these the most beautiful shoes you have ever seen?" I looked over and there was a pink shoe with a heel in the shape of a poodle. So I didn't want to upset her, so I just said "yes Rosy". But I don't get fashion at all.

Unicycling

Dear world,

The other day on my walk I saw the strangest thing. A man was cycling but he was missing his other wheel! Mom explained to me that it was a unicycle. Oh. That got me to thinking what it must be like to ride a unicycle. So I imagined cycling along behind the man. It was a lot of fun to ride a unicycle, especially in my imagination where I have great balance and don't fall down! You should try it!

Pee line

Dear world,
When it was just Rosy and me, we used to just pee on each other's pee and not think about it. Now that Annie is with us, we need to wait in line. Rosy and I feel that it is important to pee over Annie's pee to mark our seniority.

Shopping bags

Dear world,
Yesterday, Mom came home with bags from Target and Party City. When she put them in front of my closet, I thought Uh Oh, lots of holidays coming up. Annie came to see all the bags wondering what was in them. She was hoping for treats and toys. When do you think I should tell her about dress up and photoshoots?

Ravens or Forty-Niners ?

Dear world,
Today is the Superbowl between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Franciso Forty-Niners. I cant decide  who to root for so I questioned would I rather be a Raven or a Forty-Niner?. On the one paw, Ravens have the wining talents of  intelligence and excellent aerial skills. On the other paw, 49rs were in search of a dream and the best struck gold. In fact, that is why California is called the Golden State. Well, that sort of settles it. Since I am a Golden (and live in California), I feel most comfortable as a Forty-Niner. And anyway, Mom gets really freaked by big black birds.
