Beach Cliff Nap

Dear world,

The other day we went for a nice long walk.  We ended up at one of my favorite spots on the cliffs overlooking the beach. While everyone just sat and chatted on a bench, I decided it was a perfect time for a nap. I dreamt about beach pizza. I woke up rested, but pizzaless.

Parlez-vous Francais ?

Dear world,

The other day at the beach I met a French Bulldog. Every time I came out of the water, he came running over to me and barking. I tried asking him what he wanted but I couldn't understand his answer. So Rosy being a French poodle told me to bark at him  "je ne parle pas Francais. (I'm glad that meant I dont speak French!)

Eyebrows

Dear world,

The other day Mom came home with this package of Mega Brows. It was just like when she came home with the mustaches. But I was very interested in these since I dont really have any eyebrows. So I tried them on. I think the Scotsman looks pretty good, which do you like?

Get Well Cupcakes

Dear world,
My sis Sydne and niece Bunnybell ended up spending Thanksgiving weekend with us. They were supposed to be away, but Bunnybell got attacked by a dog on Wednesday. So plans changed. As you can see, Bunnybell is doing OK now. We got her Get Well cupcakes and she shared them with me. (Rosy won't eat cupcakes, she thinks they are too fattening). Anyway, I love Bunnybell very much. I am so thankful that she is OK. She is very thankful that she gets to recuperate at our house where her Grandbunnies give her lots of special treats!

Surf & Turf

Dear world,
My family has an unusual Thanksgiving dinner tradition. Just like last year, the day before Thanksgiving.a big box from Joe's Stone Crabs arrived. I thought it was very creative of Dad to add steak this year. So it ended up being Surf and Turf. I am going to suggest next year we get even more creative and add Pizza.

Eat Pizza, not Turkey

Dear world,
Its Thanksgiving time and I have a lot to be thankful for. I was rescued into the best family ever. I get to go to the ocean every other day to swim and have a never ending supply of tennis balls. I even get to have pizza sometimes, my fave food. But being thankful for food got me to thinking about the poor turkeys on Thanksgiving. So I decided I should show my support. Eat pizza, not turkey.

Upside Down Clouds

Dear world,
The other day on my walk I looked over at the water and saw something very interesting..... upside down clouds. It got me to thinking... what if the whole world turned upside down now? Would I be upside down or right side up? Would the grass be on top of me or beneath me? Would I jump in the air for my ball or lie on my back? Hmmm. This is way too philosophical. I think I will go inside and take a nap.

Pre-holiday evening

 Dear world,

The other day we went to a pre-holiday evening event at Muttropolis, a cool local pet store. When they saw Rosy arrive, they decided they wanted her to be a model for some new holiday clothes. She tried on some nice sweaters, but then out came the fancy dress. Rosy wanted to wear it forever. I was more interested in trying the crown roast treats.

Top Models

Dear world,
The last time Bunnybell visited us, she and Rosy discussed potential modeling careers. I told them they would need to practice their poses. So first I showed them how and then I called the poses. They did pretty well together. Maybe they could enter America's Next Top Synchronized Models ?

Dear world,

On my walk the other day I came across a curious sign. It said "look" but I was not sure which way since it said both ways. I think I can manage to make both eyes look at my nose, but I don't think I can make each eye look in opposite directions at the same time. Can you?

Siri

Dear world,
I asked Mom why she talks to her iPhone sometimes. She told me there is this lady called Siri in the phone that does stuff for her that she needs. That got me to thinking. Do you think Siri would get me a pizza?

Walking Cast

Dear world,
Mom came home the other day with a walking cast on her foot. Rosy didnt know what it was and was horrified at how unfashionable Mom's shoe was. I whispered to her and told her it was a cast with a medical shoe over it. So she looked up and told Mom what a beautiful new shoe she had, but asked where the matching one was. Oh well, I tried.

Rosy's Gotcha Day

Dear world,

Yesterday was Rosy's Gotcha Day. It has been 2 years since we were lucky enough to have found her. So we celebrated with her choice of day - Shopping and Smashburger . Of course, she wanted to wear one of her birthday presents -- her very own poodle skirt dress ! I loved the Smashburger part, the shopping not so much. And in the evening she had her princess party. Typical girl, she had to change outfits. And out came the tiara.

Presidential Choice

Dear world,
All this election talk got me to thinking....would I rather be Bearomney or Obearma.  I still cant make up my mind since neither candidate has addressed any dog issues. But if I were President BearBear, my primary platform would be no more homeless pets, All kill shelters would be banned, and animal cruetly would be a federal offense. Since I don't have a wife, I would appoint Rosy as First Lady. And I would move the White House to the beach.

Beach Wedding

Dear world,

The other day on my walk I saw a bride and a groom on the beach. That got me to thinking ... where would I get married ? Well I would want to be married at the beach too after all it is my fave place. But instead of rings, I  would want to exchange tennis balls while swimming in the ocean. And of course I would have a pizza party for the reception. But I don't think I would ever get married. I couldn't love anyone more than I love my Mom.
