Today is the 11th anniversary of 9/11. Every year, the twin beacons of Tribute in Light beam up from the former site of the Twin Towers in Manhattan as a powerful memorial to the victims of 9/11. I wish I could go to New York and see it myself. I live in California, so I can't. But I still want to pay my respects and honor all of those who were lost, as well as those who worked so hard in the aftermath.
Love always,
Bear
Hear hear Bear! We remember too.

ReplyDeleteMama says she'll never forget that day. As most Americans, she'll always remember where she was and what she was doing, and the overwhelming feeling of just needing to hold your loved ones close, both hyooman and anipal, and being furever grateful to be able to do so. Even though it was such a sad event, it highlighted the goodness in the hearts of Americans.
