Beachy waves

Dear world,
There are so many articles on how to blow out your hair straight and how to make beachy waves. I don't understand what is so complex. You just have to go to the beach. First go in the ocean. Then when you come out of the water, you have beachy waves. To blow your hair out straight, take a bath, towel dry, then go outside and let your hair dry in the ocean breeze.

How To Be A Man

Dear world,
Dad brought this book home to me. It is called How to be a Man -- by Gentleman Norman the Pomeranian. I thought it sounded very interesting so I started reading it. Well, I just cant seem to put it down. It is so informative! And if I do ever have a girlfriend (or if Lu ever calls), I will have the perfect reference book. Thanks Norman!

Happy Birthday Dad !

Dear world,
Today is my Dad's birthday. I thought of a perfect birthday celebration. For his day of fun, I will have Mom drive us to the beach where I will play ball with him. Then in the evening, I will have Mom call the pizza place and Dad can have a pizza party. Doesn't that sound like a perfect birthday for Dad?
Happy Birthday Dad!

County Fair

Dear world,
The San Diego County Fair is on now and we sometimes pass by on our walks. It is very pretty to look at with all the colorful lights especially reflecting against the water. And I love all the smells (even though I end up drooling for hot dogs). However, it is quite disturbing to hear people scream. But watching makes me wonder what it must be like to be at the very top of the Ferris wheel. I would probably scream too.

Rozy's Razor

Dear world,
The other day we passed by this young boy with a Razor. Rosy was very interested and asked if she could try it. After a few attempts she finally was able to stand on it. Now Rosy wants a Razor. But of course she wants one in pink.

Dog Sculpture

Dear world,
Last weekend I went to a Dog Surfing Competition (as a spectator only.) And there I saw these guys creating a sand sculpture of dogs! I was so impressed. I wanted to stay and watch. I thought maybe I could be a model for them. It seemed to need another dog. How cool would that have been ? Maybe I could commission a sculpture at my dog beach?

Weight loss!

Dear world,
I went to the vet yesterday to keep Rosy company for her check-up. While I was there, I went on the scale to see how I was doing on my diet. Dad and Mom looked at what I weighed ... 75.6lbs - -  I lost over 6 lbs! They started cheering. I started barking PIZZA PARTY !

The Real Housedogs

Dear world.
Last week, my human sis appeared on an episode of Real Housewives of Orange County. That got me to thinking. Why so many spinoffs about housewives? Why not try something new and have Housedogs? Rosy and I could be the on the first spinoff show -- The Real Housedogs of San Diego County . I am sure they could find another 3 dogs that would also make a good reality cast. I could even suggest a few of my friends. Would you watch?

Dad's Gift

Dear world,
Rosy and I couldn't decide what to get Dad for Fathers Day. Someone suggested tools. So we looked around and found a tool set to make sliders! Perfect! Dad can grill three at a time so two for me and one for Rosy. Oh yah, and we got him an official BBQ hat. That was Mom's idea.

Forever Dad

Dear world,
Today is Father's Day and it got me to thinking about the first day Dad became my Dad. So I looked through thousands of my Mom's pics and found one of my very first day at my new home. My Dad and new bro, Oliver and I were all wearing green cause it was St. Patricks Day. He played ball with us and gave me lots of hugs. I remember feeling so much love for my new forever Dad. I didn't know it was possible, but that feeling has grown so much over the last five years. I am so very lucky to have my Dad for a Dad.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's all over the world..

Fishing with Dad

Dear world,
The other day I watched this father and son fishing together. It got me to thinking how nice it would be if I could fish with my Dad. I could hold the pole in my mouth, but Dad would have to reel the fish in. Rosy thinks it is a good idea cause she hopes we would bring home tuna. She has a one track mind.

Dog on a Bench

Dear world,
Yesterday I wrote about a dog in a tree. Well today on my walk I saw him again. Only this time he was on a bench reading a newspaper! That could mean a couple of things. On the one paw, maybe he is just roaming around trying to find his way back home, and he got tired and stopped on a bench. On the other paw, maybe he is just an outside dog that is enjoying an easy life around the beach, hanging out on trees and benches. I'm not sure. What do you think?

Dog in a Tree

Dear world,
Yesterday on my walk, I came across something very odd. This giant blue dog was sitting in a tree. Rosy was scared, barked at him and ran away. But I felt really bad. I know he must be from the County Fair across the river. He must have lost his way. Hopefully his Mom and Dad will come for him. If he is still there tomorrow I will put up signs and tweet about him and leave him a cookie. Please spread the word.

Rosy meets Jake

Dear world,
The other day at the beach, a handsome white poodle named Jake took an interest in Rosy. She didn't notice, so I thought I would play matchmaker and tell her. Rosy immediately looked over at him and then became very assertive in their introduction. Then Jake wasn't interested anymore. She needs to learn how to deal with boys. Maybe I should get her a subscription to Cosmopolitan.

Donald Duck Day

Dear world,
On June 9, 1934 Donald Duck debuted in the Silly Symphony cartoon "The Wise Little Hen". So today is Donald Duck day ! I was trying to practice my Donald Duck bark, but Mom thought I sounded like I had some congestion, So I stopped before she took me to the vet. Happy Donald Duck Day ! Time to celebrate ! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy !

Beach Flags

Dear world,
I never really understood this sign with flags on the beach. The red side says "Surfing. Beach Games". The Yellow side says "No surfing, No beach games". Shouldn't the colors be reversed? Why wouldn't  the "No" side be red since that is usually for stop? And then the current red side should be yellow since that usually means to proceed with care. Gosh, what if someone cant read ?

Lost Feather

Dear world,
The other day on my beach walk I came across a feather. So I picked it up and proceeded to walk asking each large bird I saw if they lost a feather or if they knew anyone that did. No one did. I wasn't sure what to do with it. No one knew where a lost and feather found was. So I just put it back where I found it. If you know anyone who lost their feather, please tell them it is by the third big rock on the beach after Powerhouse Park.

Diamond Jubilee

Dear world,
It is time for celebrating Queen Elizabeth II 's Diamond Jubilee, marking the 60th year since her ascension to the throne. So when Rosy saw a British Foot Guard, she immediately asked him to take her to England to celebrate with the Queen. So when he picked her up she was beside herself with excitement until she realized it was just another one of Mom's photo opportunities. Poor Rosy.
